How exciting that you will always have this story to tell . . . maybe not that exciting while you were *living* it, but I definitely enjoyed reading it!!  My European adventures pale in comparison, although maybe that&#039;s all for the best.  My husband is Irish, so I figured the Irish bartender would come through for you - those people are as loyal as they like their beer!

Fabulous writing and excellent storytelling.  Thanks for sharing.

Bears uncanny resemblance to a nightmare my then boyfriend (now hubby) and I had in a dark street in Cairo, involving a menacing policeman, some untoward groping, thinly veiled threats and a gun.  And then there was the knife-point mugging by crackheads in Amsterdam with my two best friends...and the near kidnapping by some mentally deranged ravers in Ibiza...Come to think of it, I am one lucky girl i reckon!</description>
