Look into my eyes, only in my eyes

NS January 13th, 2009

Random thought of the day:

Do you think hypnotists put their children under when they want them to behave, or go to sleep, or tell the truth? Completely unethical, of course, but also really bloody useful. I’d do it in a heartbeat.

Oh, and I guess you could say I’m back. Details of what I’ve been up to in internet rehab to follow.

welcome back! I hope you return with some balance – I REALLY want you to blog, way more than, say, read my blog, so I really hope you keep this site up! I’d pick you over youtube any day!

    Yay! Welcome back.

You were missed. And I never commented on your last post – I totally understand the addiction. If I was still home all day I would be in trouble. I feel the pull to the computer like a moth to a flame. I have moved my office upstairs so it is not tempting me when the kids are home (so instead I watch Oprah and Dr Phil *eye roll*).

    Anyway, welcome back!

  4. Phew! I was starting to wonder if you were ever going to make a reappearance. Very pleased to see you back.

I could launch into a discussion about ‘state’ v ‘non-state’ hypnosis (basically ‘trance’ v ‘persuasion’) but there are certain parts of non-state hypnosis that you might find useful….. hypothetically speaking of course. Or alternatively you could watch the Dog Whisperer on TV… that’s good too ;)
