Just wrong

In London, the water is hard and so are the towels. Most people exfoliate in the shower but here, the towel does that for you as you dry off.

It’s just wrong.

    I remember standing in my Devonshire grandmother’s bathroom being scoured dry after a “bucket bath.” Gets your blood flowin’, she’d say… yea, flowing right out of the dozens of skin lacerations. I have to admit, though, I do like to dry off with a line-dried towel now – must be subsconsciously punishing myself for some childhood misdeed.

    when i was visiting the states, my sister had the most fluffy, soft, thick, absorbent, fresh-smelling towels ever.

    damn the environment, i want a tumble dryer.

    Yeah, at least it’s dry…in Scotland damp is often the way for towels…urggg
