Oh yes - after 9 summers in Britain, I'm ready to go back to the USA and restore my vitamin D levels. We looked at health insurance today in fact, and the monthly premiums ($400 a month average...) but I don't care.... we'll make it work financially.... just get me out of this neverending cloudy day....

Oh poor NS, I do feel for you. Perhaps we should swap for the summer, because I miss the weeks of rain. My soggy English soul is dehydrated, and I hate heat and humidity.

Sigh. I sort of know the feeling... we've been having thunderstorms several times a week here. It's rained almost daily for the last two weeks. I feel so cooped up, every time I look out the window and it's not raining, I take everything I'm doing and transport it outdoors to soak up the fresh air while it lasts. It's been such a strange summer here.

Oh, do I remember that feeling well. If it's any consolation, NEW England can be almost as bad as England in the summertime. I still miss it, though.

I'd share my summer in Florida photos with you but I have a feeling it would generate a string of curses from you!
