Oh, how wonderful to hear you made it through the dark spell and are now on this side of it. I always absolutely love the period when I manage to come out of one of those and see how light and beautiful the world is and how much fun it is to be a part of it with all its possibilities. Welcome back, and let's hope you stay in the brightest light for a very, very long time, and that you never sink into the deepest dark again. And, yes, I promise you, you WILL succeed, because it's quite obviously what you were meant to do, and we all succeed when we're doing what we were meant to do (now, if I could only figure out what that is for me...).

Oh, so happy to read this post! I've been depressed like that before and it is absolutely no good whatsoever. Welcome back and yes, pursue your career - you are a wonderful writer. Can you link to the article you wrote?

Adam, what a great thing, to read that book to your students on their last day. Are you sure you don't want to get back into teaching? :) Glad you're enjoying the Hob Nobs and dressing!

BC, those are good writing gods to worship! And a dash of Lennon is good for anything.

Charlotte, you're right that adoring grandparents are a great thing to behold. It is really a wonderful thing to see your parents bond with your own children. Sort of makes the circle of life seem complete and all that schmaltz. ;) Yes, that was my article, and thank you!
