1/8th of a deluge

NS March 29th, 2008

You know when you’re washing the dishes in the sink and a spoon suddenly gets directly under the stream of water, on its concave side, and diverts the water into a tidal wave arching violently in one direction? Who knew that that very thing happening, not with a normal spoon but a 1/8th teaspoon, would have just as much of a soaking effect and that the violent tidal wave would aim itself directly at my shirt? I mean, what are the chances?

Maybe this means my luck is turning.

    A 1/8 t?! Really? I’ll have to remember that! (Although I’m surprised it hasn’t
already happened to me (maybe it did, and I repressed it).

sounds like something that would happen to me. i could probably run a toothpick under a stream of water and cause it to tidal wave all over the place.

That would be me, too, except it would go all over my groin!

    Cheers
