The weird and the wonderful

This site, called Stuff White People Like, has been making me laugh every day since TNH emailed the link to me last week. Go have a flick through and (if you’re white) see how many apply to you. Hilarious stuff.

My other  recommendation this week is a wonderful blog called Simple Words I Understand. Written by a New Yorker with a gift for beautiful prose and a knack for observing the little intimacies and intricacies in life, it makes for wonderfully simple yet deliciously riveting reading.

I love the intrawebs.

    My husband alerted me to SWPL this week too. I have been laughing. I don’t know the other blog though – will check it out.

    Simple words is great, you’re right and Stuff White People Love is almost as addictive as Passive Aggressive Notes… V funny.

    I never buy bottled water, would never move to Canada, I hate the Oscars, I worked in a “real” crime ridden neighborhood, Mos Def is most definitely not an idol of mine, and I prefer a seat at concerts. I must be biracial!
