Charlotte tagged me to do this ‘guilty pleasures’ meme and I need an easy post today so here goes.

Six guilty pleasures no-one would suspect you of having?

1. I read gossip trash mag Heat occassionally
2. I love reading about birth and other people’s birth stories; I find it fascinating and beautiful
3. One of my favorite films is Forrest Gump
4. I put Cholula hot sauce on my vegetables sometimes, just to spice them up
5. I smoke cigarettes every once in awhile when I’m out with friends having drinks
6. I kept the textbooks and notes I took in a few favorite classes at university and take them out sometimes to read them and remember what it was like to be learning so much stuff and being so excited by it

Six guilty pleasures you wish you had the courage to indulge?

1. A tattoo on the back of my neck
2. Skydiving or bungee jumping
3. A backpacking trip in South America
4. Telling a couple people I’ve never liked exactly what I think of them
5. Learning to knit, bake, sew or any other typically ‘feminine’ hobby
6. Taking swing dance lessons

Six pleasures you once considered guilty but have now made peace with:

1. Eating something savory after something sweet, even if I’m full and don’t ‘need’ it
2. Drinking too much Diet Coke and not enough water
3. My penchant for handmade handbags (not designer)
4. My love of classic rock and folk music from the 60s and 70s
5. Not being a sporty/fitness type. I just plain don’t care most of the time
6. Letting TNC watch cartoons while I go through my massive blogroll every morning
