Charlotte, that's great that your brother is coming! I'm sure you'll have a blast. Andrea, so when the heck are you going to Syria, and what happened to coming to visit me? Email please. Andrea2 (sis), you know there will be some Love Actually watching going on. I has to restrain myself from busting it out the other day. Aimee, when did you come for Thanksgiving? Jen, I think that very well could be a saveloy. Beats me.

We were in London for Thanksgiving, and it was AMAZING. I felt like I had stepped into a Dickens' novel.

i. cannot. wait. either! i'm so excited to see london all decorated for the season, watch TNC squeal with delight at her gifts and just spend lots of time with you doing all the things you mentioned! looking forward to seeing TNH too, of course. :)

i'm very perplexed, however, at the picture of the standard christmas dinner. i'd be lying if i said i could identify every item on the plate. makes me a tad nervous... but! i've seen "love actually" so i think i'm pretty well prepared for the british version of the holidays!

Aww. This is how I feel about my mother coming to visit Syria next month. I'm finally going to get to share my own present with my mom! I'm sure, though, that she wishes she was visiting me in London, instead! The so-called Third World will be a shock to her system, poor thing!
